    Hicom 150 E Office and optiset E ® When connected to Hicom 150 E Office (Re- lease 2.0 and 2.2), your new telephone uses a patented system of user prompts. The display always shows you which functions are cur- rently available. Get to know your telephone’s capabilities.

    Meaning of the Functions Æ A brief description of all possible functions is provided below (see also The functions you can use depend on the individual class of service of your telephone and on the configuration of your system. Accepting a waiting call (call waiting) While a call is in progress you can answer a second call that is waiting.

    Hotline (automatic connection setup) Your telephone can be configured so that a connection to a definable destina- tion is made either immediately or after a certain time (time-dependent hot- line) after you lift the handset. Hunt group (group call) If you belong to a group of users who can be reached under a common tele- phone number in the hunt group/group call, you can leave the group and then join it again.

The person you page can then go to the near- est telephone and call you. Relay You can activate and deactivate particular devices (such as relays). Release trunk You can release busy external trunks.
