21. Remove the protective covers on the expansion card riser connectors on the PEM.
22. To install the expansion card riser, lift the release lever to an upward position.

23. Align the guide rail on the side of the expansion card riser with the slot on the side of the system and lower the
expansion card riser into the system.
24. Lower the release lever until the connector on the expansion card riser connects with the connector on the
processor expansion module.
