There is no battery power remaining after you have
left the batteries inserted for long time without using
the IC recorder.
Even if you do not use the IC recorder, the batteries are consumed slightly. If
you do not intend to use the IC recorder for an extended period of time, it is
recommended that you turn the power off or remove the batteries. Moreover, if
you set "Auto Power Off" to a short span in the menu, you can prevent the
batteries from being consumed due to forgetting to turn the IC recorder off.
