NOTE:
• When pairing your smartphone, keep the paring screen open and your screen turned on to let CarLink detect and pair
with your smartphone.
• If the pairing prompt does not appear on your smartphone during pairing, clear the list of paired Bluetooth devices
on your smartphone and try again.
• Bluetooth pairing speed will vary across different smartphone manufacturers, please wait at least three (3) seconds for
the pairing process to complete before operating the CarLink. During mirroring mode, if the pairing screen prompts
"Waiting... Confirm the request on your device. " , please tap Agree on your smartphone to complete the pairing
process.
• If the pairing process fails or cannot pair, try turning Bluetooth on your smartphone OFF and ON again. If the pairing
process still fails, try rebooting the CarLink and try again.
• Unpair the current smartphone to allow the CarLink to pair with a new smartphone via Bluetooth.
• The CarLink will not automatically reconnect if Bluetooth on the smartphone is turned OFF and ON again.
• In rare occasions, your smartphone might not receive a Bluetooth pairing request due to smartphone behavior. When
not in mirroring mode, search and pair your smartphone again. Under mirroring mode, disconnect and reconnect the
USB cable.
