Using the bounce
sheet
The bounce sheet creates a
highlight in the subject's eyes
and makes the subject look more
vibrant.

Pull out the wide panel
gently.
The bounce sheet is also
pulled out. Push back the
wide panel only.

Tilt up the flashtube by
90 degrees.

Press the MODE button
and select [TTL].

Press the shutter
button to take a photo.

Tilt down the flashtube slightly
when photographing objects
between 0.7 m and 1.0 m from
the camera to ensure accurate
illumination.

Tilt down the flashtube
by 8 degrees.
• When photographing the
subject located within 0.7
m, remove the flash unit
from the camera and use it
as an off-camera flash (not
supplied) (page 39), or
use a macro twin flash or a
ring light (not supplied).
• When a lengthy lens is
attached to the camera,
the flash beam may be
obstructed by the lens end.
