Finding a location with the navigator

POI (Point of interest) Search

• Name
• City , Name
• Genre (Category) , Name
• City , Genre (Category) , Name
• Genre (Category) , City , Name
Information about various features (Point of Interest POI),
such as petrol stations, amusement parks or restaurants is
available. By selecting the category (or entering the POI
Name or City), you can search for a POI.
Name :
Touch if you wish to first specify the POI Name.
City :
Touch if you wish to first specify the destination city or area.
Genre :
Touch if you wish to first specify the category.
Zone (eg. ESP) :
Touch if you wish to first specify the country.
1. Touch the "POI Search" button.
The text entry palette appears on the screen.
2. Touch the "Genre" button.
3. Touch the item from the list (GENRE LIST).
POI's are divided into several categories.
If the category is not sub-divided into more detailed
categories, the list will not be displayed.
4. Touch the item from the sub list.
5. Touch the "Name" button.
6. Touch the letter you want to input the name.
If there is only one letter that could possibly follow your
entry, that letter will automatically be entered.
7. Touch the "OK" button.
8. Touch the item from the list (POI LIST).
9. The map screen appears on the screen.
Note
If less than five POIs in a subcategory are registered the
screen for inputting the POI name is not displayed.
