    Chapter 1: Introduction Ports  Ethernet Ports Two LAN ports (LAN1/LAN2) and a dedicated IPMI LAN port are provided on the motherboard. LAN1/LAN2 are supported by the X540 on the AOM-PIO-i2XT card, which plugs into JSLOT6. The dedicated IPMI LAN is supported by the onboard AST 2500 BMC and accepts an RJ45 type cable.

    SX-Aurora TSUBASA A300-4 User’s Guide • In single rack installations, stabilizers should be attached to the rack. In multiple rack in- stallations, the racks should be coupled together. • Always make sure the rack is stable before extending a server or other component from the rack.
  • Page 15 Chapter 2: Server Installation • Circuit Overloading Consideration should be given to the connection of the equipment to the power supply circuitry and the effect that any possible overloading of circuits might have on overcurrent protection and power supply wiring. Appropriate consideration of equipment nameplate ratings should be used when addressing this concern.

The following is a basic guideline for installing the system into a rack with the rack mounting hardware provided.
