Press 1 if you used a parallel cable, or
2 if you used the USB cable.
The display will briefly show your
selection, and then:
UNPLUG POWER
TO RESET

Unplug the Color MFP, and then plug
it back in. (This is necessary to make
the new setting take effect.)
Note:
If you ever need to change the port used on your computer (change
from the USB cable to a parallel cable, or from a parallel cable to a
USB cable), uninstall the AJ-5030 software before changing cables.
After changing cables, perform the above procedure to change the PC
I/F SELECT setting, and then re-install the software.

Detailed instructions for using the Sharp Desktop software can be
found in the Online Guide. To open the guide, click the Start button
on the Windows taskbar, point to Programs, and then point to
SHARP AJ5030. Click SHARP AJ5030 Online Guide.
Other software programs on the CD
If you have any questions about any of the other software programs
that are included on the CD, please contact the manufacturer of the
program.
Note regarding PhotoSuite III SE
PhotoSuite III can also be used in Windows 2000 Professional.
However, this is only possible if you have logged on as an
administrator (scanning to your computer using PhotoSuite is not
possible unless you log on as administrator).
