Setting the Date and Time
The date and time
appear in the display and
are printed at the top of
every page you fax.
Set the date and time by pressing the keys on the operation panel as
shown below.
Note: The machine uses a lithium battery to keep the date and time in
memory when the power is off. Battery power is consumed primarily when
the power is off. With the power kept continuously off, the life of the battery
is about five years. If the battery dies, have your dealer or retailer replace it.
Do not try to replace it yourself.
