3.1 Initial use
1. Rinse the interior of the appli-
ance with water, fill it with water
up to the max. level line and boil
the water (see 3.2).
2. Discharge the hot water and
rinse the interior of the appli-
ance with water.
3.2 Boiling water
1. Take the power cable out of the
cable winding bay (7) located be-
neath the appliance.
2. Detach the appliance from the
base unit (6) and open the lid (1)
by pressing the lid opening but-
ton (2).
3. Fill the appliance with water
through the water refill opening
(8) and close the lid.
4. Place the appliance back on the
base unit (6).
5. Plug in the appliance.
6. Press the on / off button (5).
– The operating light turns on
when the appliance starts to
operate.

– When the water is boiled, the
on / off button (5) trips and
the operating light turns off.
– The water is ready for use.

3.3 Things to do for

Switch off and unplug the appli-
