Setting the playback sound quality (continued)
Adjusting the playback speed
(DPC(Speed Control))
You can use the DPC(Speed Control) function
to adjust the playback speed in a range from
0.25 times to 3.00 times. The file is played
in natural tones using a digital processing
function.

Select a file you want to play using
the HOME menu (page 25).

While playback is in progress or on
standby, press the  DPC (Speed
Control) button.

Press the  or  button to select "ON,"
and press the  or  button to
adjust the playback speed.
The speed decreases by 0.05 times (from
x0.25 to x1.00).
The speed increases by 0.10 times (from
x1.00 to x3.00).

By default, "OFF" is selected.

Press the  button.
You can select the playback speed as follows:
1.00 times -
FLAC files with the sampling
0.25 times
frequency at 88.2 kHz or higher
FLAC files with the sampling
2.00 times -
frequency below 88.2 kHz,
0.25 times
LPCM files with the sampling
frequency at 88.2 kHz or higher
3.00 times -
Other than the above
0.25 times
