MANAGING MESSAGE SETTINGS

You can customize the way you want to view and filter the messages. You can also
set the default messaging application.
To view and modify the message settings,
1 To edit message settings, from Home screen or App screen, select Messaging
( ).
2 Tap on Options ( ) > Settings.
3 View and edit the following settings:
SETTINGS
Default message
app
Notifications
Sound
Vibrate
Group notification
message
Enable gesture
Delete old
messages
Text message limit
Multimedia
message limit
Memory status
Delete old
messages by days
You can set the Messenger as a default message app.
NOTIFICATION
Enable to view Sound and Vibrate options.
Select the ringtone from the list.
Enable vibrate alert for incoming messages.
DISPLAY
Enable this notification message to auto combine the
notification into one group.
Enable to adjust the font size by pinching open or close.
STORAGE
Delete old messages automatically when the storage limit
is reached.
Set the maximum number of SMS messages to be
stored.
Set the maximum number of MMS messages to be
stored.
Shows the memory used for SMS, MMS and the total
memory used.
STORAGE DAYS
Enable this option to delete the old messages as days
are reached.
