When cleaning the sensor plate, ensure that no cleaning agents are used, i.e. spray
cleaners and polishes.

Use a vacuum to clean the sensor ventilation slots, and then wipe with a dry soft
cloth.

Over long periods of time the sensor offset can slowly drift from zero. Therefore we
recommend that the sensor offset is verified on the detector on an annual basis to
retain accuracy and performance. The procedure for setting the zero offset is
described below:

Connect a DC volt meter across pins 1 and 3, refer to the diagram below. Also an
accessory is available which can be used to connect to the PCB.

With the unit in a clean air (no contaminates, i.e. R407C) measure the DC voltage.
The offset voltage should be 0.25V DC, if the measured voltage is not the same
then the offset voltage must be adjusted.
