PCA LEOs
Figure 2-6 shows the locations of the six LEDs on the
HP-FL PCA.
The self-test
LED will go on for about five seconds during the self-test and then it must go off.
If it remains on, or goes back on, the
PCA
is defective. Replace it.
If the self-test passes, the remaining LEDs indicate the link status. Table 2-2
shows common patterns that may occur after a successful self-test. (The "A"
LED blinks irregularly and somewhat slowly, 10 to 60 time per minute.) For
more information on self-test and LED interpretation, see chapter 3.
