Troubleshooting and Diagnostics
Introduction
If the HP 27115A Fiber-Optic Link (HP-FL) hardware is not operating properly,
this chapter will help you to identify the field replaceable unit (FRu) that is
causing the problem. FRUs are the lowest level of assembly authorized for
replacement. For the HP-FL, there are two primary FRUs: the
peA
and the
fiber-optic cable.
This chapter describes the following:
• Self-test and Status LEDs
• HP-FL Diagnostic Software, HPFLDIAG
• General Troubleshooting
