Problem
The PS does not work.
The PS does not ring.
You cannot make/receive a call.
You cannot dial.
Noise is frequently heard.
"CS Busy" is displayed.
"PS Not Connected" is
displayed.
The PS stops working during
operation.
Two short beeps are heard
during a conversation.

Description and Solution
• The battery is drained.
→ Charge the battery fully. (See "Battery Charge" on page 7.)
• The PS has been cancelled or the PS has not been
registered.
→ Consult your dealer.
• The power is OFF.
→ Turn it ON. (See "Power On/Off" on page 8.)
• Ringer volume is set to "Off".
→ Adjust the ringer volume level. (See "Ringer Volume
Adjustment" on page 14.)
• The PS is out of range or the Cell Station (CS) is busy.
→ Move closer to the CS or try again later.
• The radio channel is busy or a radio communication error
occurred.
→ Try again later.
• The number which you dialled is restricted by the
Business Telephone System.
→ Consult your dealer.
• The key lock mode is ON.
→ To cancel the mode, press the joystick for about 2 seconds.
(See "Key Lock" on page 15.)
• The radio channel is busy or a radio communication error
occurred.
→ Try again later.
→ Set the PS and CS away from other electrical appliances.
→ Move closer to the CS.
• The Cell Station is busy.
→ Try again later.
• The called PS is out of range or is not turned on.
→ Try again later.
→ Turn the PS off, then turn it back on. (See "Power On/Off"
on page 8.)
→ Reinsert the battery and try again. (See "Battery
Installation" on page 7.)
• The radio signal is weak.
→ Move closer to the CS.
