Imaging Processor
This newly developed imaging sensor system utilises three independent
1/4-inch ClearVid
CMOS Sensors to deliver the most accurate
colour detail.
HDV 1080i Format and HD Codec Engine
The HDR-FX7 utilises the HD Codec Engine to encode the video
recordings into HDV 1080i format (1440 x 1080), and store onto
conventional MiniDV tapes. The HDV 1080i recording format is the
same format widely used by television broadcasters.
