2.2 What is in the box
Before unpacking the CliniScape, prepare a suitable workspace. You need a stable and levelled surface near a
grounded wall outlet in an area that is relatively free of glare from sunlight or other sources of bright light.
While unpacking the CliniScape, please inspect it and its other package contents and carefully check for shipping
damages that could cause a potential fires shock hazards.
Immediately report any shipping damage to the carrier or transportation company and contact customer service
for assistance. The items in packages must be checked against collision damage; refer to qualified personnel, if in
doubt. Keep all packing material in case you need to ship, store or return it.
After unpacking the CliniScape, make sure the following items are included:
Mobile Clinical
Assistant unit
MCA recovery media
2.3 What you (may) also need
For accessing a wireless network, you need a nearby access point. For voice recording or speech recognition
you need a Bluetooth headset. For accessing a wired LAN, charging a spare battery or increasing the USB
connectivity, you need the CliniScape docking station (see Paragraph 9.1).
