3. It is recommended to erase the configuration part of the flash memory by checking
Erase Linking Device Configuration. This clears the FF configuration information
(plant configuration), but the IP configuration is not changed.
If you erase the Linking Device configuration, the password will be reset to its default
value (config). If this occurs, the password must be changed from the default value.
4. Click Download Firmware and Reboot to download the firmware file and to reboot
the system.
The system performs a firmware file check and starts the download. Messages
indicate the current download status.
Then the Start to reboot message is displayed and the system reboots.
Wait half a minute before accessing the web server of the LD 810HSE Ex after the
Start to reboot message is displayed in the browser window. If you do so, you may
have to clear the browser cache after the boot process has finished and then
re-establish a connection to the web server of the LD 810HSE Ex. This is not the
case if you have a configured time synchronization and the time is already
synchronized.
During reboot, the IP connection between PC and Linking Device will be lost.
