1. 90-degree fitting (barbed)

35. Secure the hose to the filter head fitting with the new
hose clamp (Figure 7).
36. Secure the hose to the hydraulic reservoir fitting with
the hose clamp previously removed (Figure 7).
37. Secure the oil cooler hoses together with the wire tie as
shown in Figure 6.
38. Clean the screen and install it.
39. Fill the hydraulic reservoir with hydraulic oil. Refer
to traction unit Operator's Manual for hydraulic oil
requirements.
40. Start the machine and run it at idle for 3 to 5 minutes
to circulate the fluid and remove any air trapped in the
system. Stop the machine and check the fluid level.
Note: Cap the plug in the rear of oil cooler can be
removed to gain access to the carburetor.
Important: When changing the engine oil filter,
use the short filter, Briggs and Stratton.
