Determined use
▶ The product must only be used for controlling heating
systems.
Any other use is considered improper. Any damage that may
result is excluded from liability.
Installation, commissioning and maintenance
Installation, commissioning and maintenance must only be
carried out by a suitably qualified engineer.
▶ Only genuine spare parts must be installed.
Electrical work
Electrical work must only be carried out by qualified
electricians.
▶ Before carrying out electrical work:
– Isolate all poles of the mains voltage and secure against
reconnection.
– Using suitable means, test the power supply is
disconnected.
▶ The product requires different voltages.
Do not connect the low voltage side to the mains voltage or
vice versa.
▶ Also observe connection diagrams of other system
components.
Handover to the end user
When handing over the heating system, explain the operating
conditions to the user.
▶ Explain how to operate the heating system, with particular
emphasis on all safety-related actions.
▶ Explain that conversions or maintenance must only be
carried out by a suitably qualified engineer.
▶ Point out the need for inspections and maintenance for
safe and environmentally friendly operation.
▶ The installation and operating instructions must be given to
the end user for safekeeping.
Damage caused by frost
The system can freeze if it is switched off:
▶ Observe the notices regarding frost protection.
▶ Due to the additional functions, e.g. DHW heating or anti-
seizing protection, the system should always be left on.
▶ Correct any faults immediately.

Functions of module in combination with heat pump
(
) or other heat source (
1) Max. one heating circuit without mixer recommended
2) Not shown in the system schematics.
3) For constant flow temperature, e.g. swimming pool or hot
air heating.
4) DHW cylinder downstream of low loss header.
The module is used to activate
– A heating circuit with a heating pump; with or without
mixing valve actuator
– A cylinder primary circuit with separate cylinder
primary pump and DHW circulation pump (DHW
circulation pump optional).
The module is used to record
– The flow temperature in the assigned heating circuit or
the temperature of the DHW cylinder
– The temperature at a low loss header (optional)
7716 192 614
– The control signal from a temperature switch in the
assigned heating circuit (optional for a heating circuit
without mixer).
