1-14-2. Option Board Installing/Removing

Procedures

SRK-R201 (ENC-134 board) and SRK-R202 (DEC-176
board) can be installed into Port A to Port D of the
SR-R1000 according to "1-14-1. Combination of Option
Boards."
A card board insertion/removal tool (Part number:
J-7120-800-A) is required to remove the DEC-176 board
that was installed in Port D when the SR-R1000 was
shipped or to remove option boards that were installed
according to "Installation" in this section. Remove the
DEC-176 board and option boards according to "Removal"
in this section..

Before installing a board, be sure to turn off the power
switch on the rear of the SR-R1000 and disconnect the
power cable. Failure to do so may cause electric shock or
damage to the board.

Installation
The following describe a procedure to install the
SRK-R201 (ENC-134 board) into Port A. This procedure
also applies when installing a board into another port.
SR-R1000
1. Turn off the power switch on the rear of the SR-R1000
2. Remove the two screws to detach the blank panel.
