Design

The WS 400-30 and WS 400-50 operator panels consist of different basic units and keypads.
The planning of the individual versions has ensured that the operator panels will be able to
carry out all the specific functions necessary for controlling the graphics and control systems.
One version each of the WS 400-30 or one WS 400-50 operator panel are available depending
on whether the unit is connected to a GRACIS or WF 470 system. Keypad expansion units
provide a useful complement to the basic units. The specific keypads for GRACIS or WF 470
are built into the individual versions. The keypads and the softkey panel are connected to the
units by a keyboard encoder. The keyboard encoder is built in to the WS 400-30 and WS 400-
50 basic units. In addition, a WS 400-30 operator panel is available for universal use.
The following versions are available:
– WS 400-30 for WF 470
– WS 400-30 keypad expansion unit for WF 470
– WS 400-30 for GRACIS
– WS 400-30 keypad expansion unit for GRACIS
– WS 400-30 for universal use
– WS 400-50 for WF 470
– WS 400-50 versions A and B for GRACIS
– WS 400-50 keypad expansion unit for GRACIS/WF 470
– WS 400-30/50 machine control panel
The operator panels for use with GRACIS can be connected to PG 750/PG 770 programming
units and GRACIS-S5s.
