Pre-Maintenance
Procedures

Raising the Seat

Ensure that the parking brake is engaged. Lift the
seat forward.
You can access following components by raising the
seat:
Serial plate
Service decal
Seat-adjustment bolts (if applicable)
Fuel filter
Battery and battery cables

Lubrication

Greasing the Bearings

All Models without MyRide
Service Interval: Every 25 hours—Grease all
lubrication points (non-MyRide
models only).
Grease Type: No. 2 lithium grease
1.
Disengage the blade-control switch (PTO), move
the motion-control levers to the N
position, and engage the parking brake.
2.
Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait
for all moving parts to stop before leaving the
operating position.

Clean the grease fittings

Make sure to scrape any paint off the
front of the fitting(s).
