power and a minute amountof current is still con-

Choosing a location for your LCD TV
To Displayyour LCD TV on the included
Pedestal Stand:
Observethe following safety precautions:
1) Readand Follow the pedestalassemblyinstructions
includedwith the pedestal.
CAUTION: B eforebeginningpedestalassembly,
carefully lay the front of the LCDPanel f ace down on a
flat, cushionedsurfacesuch asa quilt or blanket,
Leavethe bottomof the unit protrudingoverthe edge
of the surfaceand assemblethe pedestalas indicated
below.
Note: Extreme care should always be used
when attaching the pedestal stand to avoid
damage to the LCD panel
2) Placethe TV on a sturdy, levelsurfacethat can support
the weight of the TV.
3) Be sureto securethe TVto a wall, pillar, surface, or
other immovablestructure. (_- item 25, page4).
To Displayyour LOB TV using a Wall
Bracket:
If you decideto wall mountyour LCDTV,alwaysuse a UL
listedwall bracketappropriatefor the size and weight of
the LCDTV(6, page2):
1) CAUTION: Two peopleare required for installation.
2) Unplug and removeany cables and/or other compo-
nent connectorsfrom the rear of the TV.
3) Removethe screws of the VESA Mounting Pattern
show in the next page.
CAUTION: D o not use the screws removedfrom the
backcover to attach the wall mount bracketto the TV.
4) Always use the screws suppliedor recommendedby
the wall mount manufacturer.
5) Followthe instructionsprovidedwith your wall bracket,
Beforeproceeding,make surethe appropriate
bracket(s)are attached to the wall and the back of the
TV as describedinthe instructionsprovidedwith the
wall bracket,
6) After attachingthe appropriatebracket(s)to the wall
and the back of the TV,removethe pedestalstand
from the TV asdescribedon the following page.
