5.1 Cleaning and care
1. Pull the plug out before cleaning.
2. Never submerge the appliance
in water.
3. Main switch shall always be
turned off (0) when you are
done with serving tea or heating
water.
4. Teapot and filter may be washed
in the dishwasher or by hand.
Empty the kettle compartment
and wipe this area with a dry
or damp cloth, never wash it by
immersing it to water.
5. Lime in the water will collect
on the base of the kettle and
reduce the efficiency of the
kettle in the course of the time.
Put commercially
descaling agents or some citric
acid (citrate) inside the kettle
with some water and boil it;
then wait for a while and rinse
and pour down the water. Do
not forget to rinse carefully with
clean water.

5.2 Storage

• If you do not plan to use the
appliance for a long period of
time, please store it carefully.
• Make sure the appliance is
unplugged and completely dry.
• Do not wrap the power cord
around the appliance.
• Keep it in a cool, dry place.
• Make sure that the appliance is
kept out of the reach of children.
