has the following convenient features.
EZapps (BREW
You can enjoy using various applications including large games that are
rich in expressive content and standby applications.
Infrared Communication
You can exchange data such as phone book entries, schedule data, and
image data in Data Folder with devices equipped with an infrared
communication function.
Fonts
You can change the font (character design) for characters on the display.
Emission OFF
This feature prevents your cell phone from sending or receiving signals.
You can use this to prevent interruptions by incoming calls or mail when
you are shooting photos or movies or playing music, etc.
Open/Close Lock
Whenever you close the A5523T it automatically locks itself to prevent
other people from using it to access EZweb or make calls, etc.
Extra Large Icons
When you set the A5523T to Simple Mode, this feature displays the
battery level and signal strength icons at a larger size.
E-mail Voice Read
This function enables the A5523T to automatically read out e-mail
messages that you receive (requires the EZapps "EZ Mail for a sound and
read").
Dictionary
A "Dictionary" electronic dictionary package is built into the A5523T.
Dictionary is made up of Japanese Dict, Eng → Jpn Dict, Jpn → Eng Dict and
Katakana word Dict and contains a total of roughly 159 thousand entries.
Barcode Reader & Maker
You can use the camera in the A5523T to scan bar codes. This feature
will also create bar codes that contain profiles and address book entries.
