Configuration procedure for Decoders
The following is the configuration procedure for a Decoder unit.
Adding a folder
Optionally, create a folder for the Decoder unit.

Adding the Decoder node
1. Select the new folder.
2. Click the Video menu
3. Select the icon corresponding to the Decoder you want to add:
– NICE Decoder
– RIVER Decoder
Note: You can customise the default name of the new node typing in a new name in
the Description field of the Node tab.
Configuring the Decoder IP address
1. Select the new Decoder node and click the Node tab.
2. In the Setting section, enter the IP address, which should match the value locally
set in the Decoder unit.
Linking the Decoder node
1. Expand the node structure including the NR Video Driver:
Supervisor System Settings > MM8000 System > Physical configuration > <Station
name> > Video Network Manager
2. Select the Decoder node.
3. Drag and drop the link to the Video Driver.
Connecting the monitors
1. Expand the Decoder node.
2. Select the Video Out Folder.
3. Add the required video outputs by clicking the Video Out icon .
Press SHIFT key when clicking the icon to add multiple nodes at once.
4. Expand the Video Monitors folder.
5. Select the Video Out node of the Decoder.
6. Drag and drop the video signal to the Video In node of the monitor.
7. Connect other outputs to the corresponding monitor inputs as necessary.
