1. Tilt sensor
5. Connect the wire harness you disconnected in step 2
to the foot-pedal sensor.
6. Install the foot plate, securing it with the 4 bolts
removed previously, and connect the foot pedal to the
drive linkage.
7. Remove the plug from the second switch position from
the right on the control panel behind the seat (Figure 4).
1. Rocker switch
8. Remove the switch connector from the plug and
connect it to the new rocker switch.
9. Install the rocker switch into the open slot, ensuring
that it seats into the connector under the switch plate
(Figure 4).
Calibrating the Sensor
1. Start the engine and move the machine to level ground.
2. From the Home screen, press and hold the up and
down arrow keys (Figure 5).

The diagnostic screen (Figure 6) displays.
Diagnostic Screen
1. Trencher setup button
3. Press 2 to select Trencher Setup (Figure 6).
The PIN entry screen displays.
4. Enter your 8-digit PIN. If you do not have a service
PIN for your machine, contact your Authorized Service
Dealer.
The Trencher Setup screen appears (Figure 7).
