Problem
The product does not
start.
The blades do not ro-
tate.
The blades rotate too

Transportation
WARNING: Be careful during transportation.
The product is heavy and can cause injury if
it falls.
Fold the handle. Refer to
transport position on page 14 .

Troubleshooting

Cause
No power supply.
Electromagnetic contactor is not in operation. Make sure that the magnetic sensor is cor-
No current supply to the electric motor.
The V-belt is broken.
The V-belt is not sufficiently tight against the
pulleys.
The floating disc is used and the concrete is
too wet.
The motor is defective.
The transmission is defective.
1 or more of the blades are bent or defective. Replace damaged blades.
1 or more of the blades do not move correct-
ly in the hub.
The pressure plate is bent or defective.
1 or more of the blades do not move correct-
ly in the hub.
The pressure plate does not move vertically.
The blade adjustment control on the handle-
bar is defective.

Transportation, storage and disposal

To set the product in

Examine the power cord and the fuse. Re-
place damaged parts.

not damaged. Do a test to find if a signal
goes through the magnetic sensor. If there is
no signal, replace the magnetic sensor.
Examine the electric components, cables,
contactors, capacitors and start button. Re-
place damaged parts.
Replace the V-belt.
Adjust the screw for the V-belt.
Let the concrete dry some more before you
operate the product.
Repair or replace the motor.
Repair or replace the transmission.
Remove the blades. Clean and lubricate all
contact surfaces.
Replace the pressure plate.
Remove the blades. Clean and lubricate all
contact surfaces.
Disassemble the blade assembly. Clean and
lubricate all contact surfaces.
Examine all parts of the blade adjustment
control for damage and replace if it is neces-
sary.
If an optional floating disc is installed, remove it
before transportation.
When you use a vehicle for transportation of the
product, make sure that the product is sufficiently
attached and cannot move. Attach 1 tie-down strap
to the operation handle and the vehicle. Attach 1 tie-
down strap to the support frame for maintenance
position and the vehicle.
