Installing wireless devices

PDZG-E Wireless Gateway

The PDZG-E connects up to 25 ZigBee nodes (SNS401CMPs) to the Dynalite system over an
Ethernet trunk to a PDEG. This allows communication and control between ZigBee and DyNet
devices anywhere on the network.
The ZigBee protocol's mesh networking feature allows any device on the network to pass messages along to
other devices within range, even if they are not visible to the gateway. This allows true flexibility with installation
and layout.
As long as each ZigBee node is within 10 meters of at least one other node, it will operate as a seamless
component of the Dynalite system.

SNS401CMP ZigBee Receiver with Multifunction Sensor

The SNS401CMP receives DyNet commands over ZigBee from the PDZG-E and sends DALI
messages over an SR bus. The variant used is the SNS401CMP, which is sold with a circular
mounting plate as shown here.
The SNS401CMP is paired with a Philips Xitanium SR Bridge to control a single DALI
Broadcast channel, or with a Philips Advance SR Bridge to control a 1-10V channel.
The SNS401 also includes a PIR motion sensor and a light level sensor.
