To upgrade ECC500 software, log in to the WebUI by referring to
Procedure
Step 1 Click Browse to select the software to be upgraded, as shown in
Figure 6-1 Software upgrade (1)
Step 2 Click Send to send the software to be upgraded to the main control module of the ECC500.
Step 3 After the software is uploaded successfully, it is displayed under Packages to be activated.
Select the software to be upgraded and then click Activate. After the upgrade is successful,
the Selected package has been activated successfully message is displayed, as shown in
Figure

During software upgrade, ensure an uninterruptible power supply for the ECC500 and
EMS and proper communication between them.
Obtain the latest software version before the software upgrade. If the software upgrade
fails, the ECC500 runs based on the original software version.
