Install the Cooling Unit Panel and
Final Corner
Step 1:
Install the front panel with the
cooling unit opening. Again, check
to be sure panels are aligned at the
top. Lock the panel to the door
panel. Then, install the right front
corner panel and lock in place.
Secure the Door Jamb
Step 1:
With the door closed, check to
be sure the door is aligned evenly
with the door jamb from top to
bottom. The door should swing
open freely. Open and close the
door to be sure it does not catch
at the top or bottom.
TIP: If the door sticks in either place, the door
opening may need to be enlarged slightly. To
correct the opening, remove the corner panel
and then the door panel. Trim about 1/16" off
the base channel on the left side of the
opening. Reposition the door panel and the
corner panel. Test again.
Step 2:
Open the door. Measure and mark
both sides of the door jamb, 3" to
3-1/4" above the floor and 2" from
the front of the jamb.
Step 3:
Drill 5/32" pilot holes through the
door jamb and the bracket on each
side of the door opening at the
marked locations. Secure the
door jamb to the bracket with
#10 x 3/4" screws.
