Position and pin assignment of the battery connection
Ensure that the polarity of the batteries is correct.
In the case of a polarity reversal of the batteries a
F10A (5x20) fuse is released on the power supply
unit.
DANGER
Note:
If the new battery pack is not yet charged, during the charging
time there's no sufficient USP protection enabling a controlled
shutdown of the PC. Therefore, use completely charged
batteries, if possible. The charging time of a 2.5Ah battery is
approximately 5 hours.
4. Switch on the supply voltage for the IPC 40.2 again.
5. Observe the "UPS" LED on the front panel:
• UPS LED OFF:
• UPS LED flashes red:
Wait approximately 5 hours until the batteries are charged and the
UPS LED extinguishes.
