5.SAS BIOS
The SAS Configuration Utility is used for setting this product. To start the utility, no special startup
disk is required. It can be started by a simple keyboard operation while the self-diagnosis program
POST is running.

5-1.About SAS Configuration Utility

SAS Configuration Utility is used in the following case.
After installing this product, when the system cannot be booted from USB CD-ROM drive.
1.
Start SAS Configuration Utility.
2.
Select Global Properties.
3.
Change "Support Interrupt" setting "Hook interrupt, the Default" to "Bypass Interrupt hook".
Pause When Boot Alert Displayed [No]
Boot Information Display Mode
Support Interrupt
Restore Defaults
4.
Save changes and exit SAS Configuration Utility.

5-2.Starting SAS Configuration Utility

Follow these steps to start SAS Configuration Utility.
1.
Turn on the computer.
The following message will be displayed.
LSI Logic Corp. MPT SAS BIOS
MPTBIOS-6.14.00.00 (2007,02,05)
Copyright 2000-2007 LSI Logic Corp.
Press Ctrl-C to start LSI Logic Configuration Utility...

Hold <Ctrl> key and press <C> key.
SAS Configuration Utility starts and the "Adapter List" menu will be displayed.
