Preparing to Install the
Tilt-Steering Column
No Parts Required
Procedure
1. Move the machine to a level surface.
Note: Ensure that the front wheels of the machine
are straight.
2. Set the parking brake, shut off the engine, and remove
the key from the key switch.
3. Remove the right panel; refer to the Operator's Manual.
4. Rotate the battery-disconnect switch to the O
position; refer to the Operator's Manual.

Removing the Steering Wheel
No Parts Required
Procedure
1. Pry the cover out from the hub of the steering wheel
(Figure
1).

2. Remove the nut (13/16 inch) that secures the steering
wheel to the fixed-steering column
3. Remove the steering wheel by pulling it away from the
column
