4.3 Keyboard Functions

Left Option Key Press to go into the Menu from Home screen; Select/Ok in submenus
Right Option Key In any menu you can go back to the last menu. Shortcut to Contacts from Home
screen
OK key OK in submenus. Also used to select the middle option in the grey bar at the
bottom of the screen
Up Key Used to scroll through the menu; Shortcut to File Manager from Home screen
Down Key Used to scroll through the menu, Shortcut to Settings from Home screen
Left Key Used to scroll through the menu; Shortcut to Calendar from Home screen
Right Key Used to scroll through the menu, Shortcut to Alarms from Home screen
Dial/Answer Key Make phone call: input the phone number and press Dial key
End Call/ Long press for 5 seconds to power the phone on/off; Press the end key to end
Power Key
phone call or return back to Home screen
0-9 Numeric Keypad To enter numbers and characters. Long press keys 2-9 for speed dial
✲ Star Key In Home screen, press to input ✲, or long press to input +; In SMS editing screen
press to enter the special symbol mode, i.e. ? ! : ; . , ' # $ % etc
# Hash Key In Home screen, press to input #; In text editing, press to switch input method, i.e.
ABC, abc, 123
Loud Speaker Key Press to activate or deactivate hands free/ speaker mode
Calculator Key Open/Closes the calculator function
Redial Key From the Home screen, press to call the last dialled phone number
FM Key Open/Closes the FM Radio function
Wi-Fi Key Shortcut to Wi-Fi Hotspot setting menu
Answer Key Enter the phone number and press Dial key; Press to see last dialled numbers
M1-M4 Quick Dial Keys Set M1 – M4 as quick dial contacts by long pressing
