2-7 Advanced Functions During a Call

Putting someone on Hold during a call: During a call, press the [Hold] key. The call will
be suspended, to resume, press [Hold] again. When someone is on hold, the LCD
display will look like the image below and the call timer will continue counting during the
hold. Please also note that Hold key indicator will light when a call is on hold.
You can also use the [Hold] key to make another call without hanging up the current call.
To do this, press the [Hold] key during a call then dial the new phone number. After this
new call is ended, press the [Hold] key again to resume the original call. The LCD display
will indicate both calls as shown in the example image below indicating that you are
talking to JOHN DOE and JANE DOE is still on hold.
Transferring a Call:
Direct Transfer
Mode 1: During a phone call, press the [Hold] key. The call will be suspended. Now dial
the phone number that you want to transfer the call to and press the [Transfer] key. You
may then hang up your phone and the remote party will be connected with the phone
number you dialed.
