Iron button
The iron button function decreases the operation speed
to make it easier to cut in hard materials, for example
reinforcement bars.
The decreased speed can also be used to make it
easier for the drill bit to go into the surface of other
materials. For best performance, disengage the iron
button function when the drill bit is through the surface
and drill the hole at regular speed.
When the indicator for the electronic gear flashes, the
iron button function is engaged.
To stop the product
WARNING: The drill bit continues to rotate
for some time after the motor stops. Do not
stop the drill bit with your hands. Injuries can
occur.
1. Let the product operate without work load for 2–3
minutes. The water system decreases the
temperature in the motor.
2. Set the ON/OFF switch to "0".
3. Wait until the drill bit has fully stopped.
4. Close the water supply.
5. Disconnect the product from the power supply.

To replace the drill bit
WARNING: Pull out the plug from the mains
socket before you replace the drill bit.
WARNING: Use protective gloves. Let the
product become cool before you remove the
drill bit. The drill bit and the adjacent area
are very hot after operation.
WARNING: Only use diamond drill bits that
are approved for your product. Speak to
your Husqvarna dealer for more information.
1. Make sure that you have got a new drill bit, the
supplied wrench and water resistant grease.
2. Lock the spindle axle with the wrench.
3. Turn the drill bit clockwise to remove it.
CAUTION: Do not hit the product to
remove the drill bit. There is a risk of
damage to the gearbox and the drill
stand.
4. Lubricate the spindle shaft thread with water
resistant grease.
5. Turn the drill bit counterclockwise to install it. Tighten
fully.
