Description
CLEAR SOFT
Clears any Soft stops that have been applied.
STOPS
MANUAL
Gives the user 10 seconds of manual control of the camera to allow the operator to move the
CONTROL
camera to the desired position before the menu returns to its previous state.
WASH WIPE
Sets the wash position by pointing the camera at the washer nozzle
POSITION
and pressing right to set.
SET ZERO
Sets the zero degree (North) position when using the compass
POS
direction captions. For example, point the camera North, Set Zero Pos,
resulting in the caption correctly displaying the compass heading.
UPPER LEFT
Soft Stops enable the user to set up an imaginary box within which the
AND LOWER
camera can move. There is only one zone available which is defined by
RIGHT SOFT
first setting the Top Left and then the Bottom Right of the zone. Once
STOP
activated the MIC cannot be moved beyond the area set.
LEFT AND
These 2 settings define the limits within which the camera will pan at
RIGHT AUTO
the "Auto Pan Speed" when the "Auto Pan" feature is activated.
PAN LIMITS
MAP AUX TO
This option opens a submenu that allows certain features of the
PRESET
camera which would normally be controlled through Aux commands to
be mapped to Go To Preset commands. The features available for this
are Wiper, Washer, Digital Zoom, Auto Iris, Auto Focus, and Auto Pan.
For each function there are 3 options: Control, On Preset, and Off
Preset. The control field denotes if the function is activated by the
normal aux command or through a preset. The other 2 options set the
preset number to activate or deactivate each function. This provides
the ability to run all of the camera's standard auxiliaries from a wider
range of control systems with varying direct aux support.
Note: If the control field of any of the functions is set to Go To Preset,
then the feature will not work using a standard button from a normal
controller. Similarly, if mapped to an Aux command, the preset values
indicated will have no effect.
FIND END
Rotates the tilt axis first down then up to its mechanical limit stops. It
STOPS
then stores a "soft" limit a few units back from these for normal use.
Note: manual control is not available during this process.
RESET TO
Resets to the default settings for all OSD menus.

Re-map Pelco Aux (Pelco D and P Protocols only)

The Pelco protocols (D and P) support 8 different auxiliaries, but do not define what function
each should perform. This feature enables the 8 available auxiliaries to be set to any of the 8
available functions (Auto Focus, Digital Zoom, Auto Iris, Wiper, Washer, OSD and Backlight).
By default, the auxiliaries are mapped as follows:
