De ne the initial evaporator coil temperature T2 when the compressor just starts running as Tcool.
In the rst 5 minutes after the compressor starts up in cooling mode, if T2<Tcool -1.8ºF (1ºC) does not
keep continuous 4 seconds and this situation happens 3 times, the display area will show "EC" and the
unit will turn off.
Power off, then restart the
unit 2 minutes later.
