    HOW TO FINISH UNPACKING Place appliance next to the cabinet in which it will be installed. Remove the appliance packing except for bottom tray which should be left in position until the appliance is ready to be fitted into its cabinet. Ensure the owner is given these operating instructions.

    INTRODUCTION WHEN FIRST SWITCHING ON The oven has a 24 hour clock. When the oven is first switched on at the wall the oven lights may illuminate momentarily electronic automatically show 0.00, and the 'Time' neon will also flash. When using the timer control for the very first time, it is advisable to let it operate while you are at home. The displays can be checked to show that it is operating correctly and you will feel confident to leave a meal to cook automatically in the future.

This will take from 10 to 15 minutes, depending on selected function and temperature.

When cooking more than one dish in the fan oven, place dishes centrally on different shelves rather than cluster several dishes on one shelf, this will allow the heat to circulate freely for the best cooking results.

    THE TOP OVEN USES OF THE TOP OVEN The second oven is the smaller of the two ovens. It is heated by elements in the top and bottom of the oven. It is designed for cooking smaller quantities of food. It gives especially good results if used to cook fruit cakes, sweets and savoury flans or quiche.

See ‘Care of Stayclean Surfaces’. The vitreous enamel in the grill/top compartment and the main oven base can be cleaned using normal oven cleaners or aerosol oven cleaners with care.
