Safety precautions

WARNING
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Whenever packing, unpack-
ing, transporting or moving the system, wear protective footwear,
preferably with steel toe cap.
WARNING
Electrical installation. All electrical installation must be performed
by authorized personnel only.
WARNING
Strong magnets. Magnets may interfere with functioning of
pacemakers or implanted heart defibrillators and cause DEATH or
SERIOUS INJURY. Magnets are located on the bottom of XDM and
XDUO mixer, and in the impeller assembly of the disposable bags.

OBSERVE and follow instructions for installation, operation, and
maintenance of XDM and XDUO mixer.
•
KEEP a safe distance of 25 cm or more from the magnets to
avoid exposure to magnetic field greater than 0.5 mT (5 G).
•
WARN people who wear pacemakers or implanted heart defib-
rillators from getting too close to the magnets.
WARNING
Access to power switch. The power switch must always be easy
to access.
WARNING
Access to power cord. Do not block access to the power cord. The
power cord must always be easily accessible for disconnection
purposes.
