    About This Document (HL-C1-WL Series) This document (HL-C1-WL Series) describes modifications, additions and deletions to the HL-C1 Series. Read the USER’S MANUAL for the HL-C1 Series to check the descriptions in this document. Precautions for the Handling Class 3B Laser Beam 1.

  • Page 5 Safety Equipment 1) Key Switch This product uses a key switch to emit a laser. Remove the key when the product is not used. 2) Beam attenuator If there is danger of incision by the laser beam into eyes during work, install the accessory beam attenuator.

    CHAPTER 3 INPUT TERMINAL  3-2 Remote Interlock Terminal Remote Interlock Input Terminal IL1 and IL2 are remote interlock input terminals of sensor head 1 and sensor head 2. Short circuit these remote interlock input terminals with the (-) terminals (NPN output type) to emit the laser to start measurement.
  • Page 22 CHAPTER 3 INPUT TERMINAL HL-C1C-M-WL (Photo MOS output type) emits laser beam for measurement when the voltage is applied to the remote interlock terminal and COM terminal. In the state of the factory setting, this product does not start measurement since the remote interlock terminal is not connected.
