8 Status Messages

8.1 Status Display

When the frequency converter is in status mode, status
messages are generated automatically and appear in the
bottom line of the display (see Illustration 8.1.)

8.2 Status Message Definitions

Table 8.2 to Table 8.4 described the displayed status
messages.

Table 8.2 Operation Mode

AF-600 FP
The frequency converter does not react to any
control signal until [Auto] or [Hand] is pressed.
The frequency converter is controlled from the
control terminals and/or the serial communi-
cation.
The frequency converter can be controlled by
the navigation keys on the keypad. Stop
commands, reset, reversing, DC brake, and
other signals applied to the control terminals
can override local control.

Remote
The speed reference is given from external
signals, serial communication, or internal
preset references.
Local
The frequency converter uses [Hand] control
or reference values from the keypad.

AC Brake
AC Brake was selected in B-10 Brake Function.
The AC brake over-magnetizes the motor to
achieve a controlled slow down.
Auto Tune finish
Auto Tune was carried out successfully.

start.

Auto Tune process is in progress.

Coast
Ctrl. Ramp-down Control Ramp-down was selected in SP-10 Line
failure.
Current High
The frequency converter output current is
above the limit set in H-71 Warning Current
High.
Current Low
The frequency converter output current is
below the limit set in H-70 Warning Current
Low
DC Hold
DC hold is selected in H-80 Function at Stop
and a stop command is active. The motor is
held by a DC current set in B-00 DC Hold
Current.
DC Stop
The motor is held with a DC current (B-01 DC
Brake Current) for a specified time (B-02 DC
Braking Time).
DET-768b
Coast inverse was selected as a function
for a digital input. The corresponding
terminal is not connected.
Coast activated by serial communication
The mains voltage is below the value set
in SP-11 Line Voltage at Input Fault at
mains fault
The frequency converter ramps down the
motor using a controlled ramp down
DC Brake is activated in B-03 DC Brake Cut
In Speed [RPM] and a Stop command is
active.
DC Brake (inverse) is selected as a function
for a digital input. The corresponding
terminal is not active.
The DC Brake is activated via serial
communication.
