6. TROUBLESHOOTING
The robotic lawnmower has
got caught in something.
The robotic lawnmower is
stuck behind a number of ob-
stacles.
One of the body's attachments
has come loose.
The lift sensor has been acti-
vated due to the mower get-
ting stuck.
One of the lift senor magnets
is inverted or missing.
The lift sensor is faulty.
The robotic lawnmower has
got caught in something.
The working area includes a
steep slope.
The guide wire is not laid at an
angle on a slope.
The robotic lawnmower is lea-
ning too much or has turned
over.
The mower is no longer recei-
ving signals from respective
guide wire.
The mower has followed the
boundary wire but not found
the charging station.
Guide wire calibration has
been successful.
Guide wire calibration has
failed.
Free the the robotic lawnmower and
rectify the reason for it becoming trap-
ped.
Check if there are any obstacles
which make it hard for the robotic
lawnmower to move on from this lo-
cation.
Check that the body is properly secu-
red in the front and rear rubber dam-
pers.
Free the robotic lawnmower and rec-
tify the reason it got stuck.
Check the magnets. Refer to
5.1.4 Magnets for sensors on
page 57.
Check the lift sensor. Refer to
5.23 Replacing front collision column/
lift sensor on page 76.
Free the mower and rectify the reason
for the lack of drive. If it is due to wet
grass, wait until the lawn has dried
before using the mower.
Maximum guaranteed slope is 45%.
Steeper slopes should be isolated.
If the guide wire is laid on a slope, it
must be laid at an angle across the
slope. See chapter 3 Installation in the
Operator's Manual.
Turn the mower the right way up and
rectify the cause of the mower turning
over.
Check connection of guide wire to
charging station. To locate a break in
a wire, refer to 6.5 Finding a break in
the boundary wire.
This may be due to a break in the
guide wire or that it is not connected
to the charging station. If the mower
has been used on another installation
with several guide wires other than
the current one, this fault message
can also appear.
Check the boundary wire's corridor
width setting and location, refer to the
Operator's Manual.
No action.
Check that the guide wires are installed
as described in the Operator's Manual.
Then carry out a new calibration, refer
to 3.5 Calibrate guide on page 40.
