• This prevents hairs from being cut.
2 S e t th e sw itch to "2 " . O n c e ste a m is released,

• When straightening bundles of hair at 5-6 cm widths, pull gently. However
do not take much hair as it may be difficult to straighten your hair.
• Clam p the bundle of hair in the center of the iron plate.
• Be sure to fill the tank with w ater w hen using the hair
straightener at the "2 " setting.
• Use both hands and hold the press plate to straighten curly hair.
Do not use excessive force as it may place a strain on hair ends.

• Move the hair straightener slow ly (at a
speed slow er than ordinary brushing) to
thoroughly soak the hair in a steam.

• If the power is turned off with the hair straightener open, the
press plate does not lock.
• Press the center of the grip as shown and
set the switch to the "O LO CK" setting.
(If the center o f the grip is not pressed,
the press plate may not lock properly.)

• Use the hair straightener on dry hair. (Use on w et hair is not
effective.)
• The hair straightening effect may differ according to the
individual, such as the degree of curliness and hair type.
Straightening tends to be more difficult for hard hair and hair
having a flat (oval or triangular) cross-section.
• This straightener is intended to straighten hair only for tha t day.
Hair w ill return to its norm al condition after shampoo.
• This straightener is not suitable for those with extrem ely fizzled
or curly hair.
• This straightener does not straighten kinky hair.
• Do not use the straightener im m ediately after a home straight
perm liquid is used. Doing so may dam age your hair.
(The straightener may be used 3-4 days after a straight perm
liquid. The straightener may also be used 3-4 days after having
your hair treated at a beauty parlor.)
• Do not use together with straight perm liquids having the same
ingredients (reducing agent) as perm anent wave liquids. The
reducing agent may dam age your hair.
Check the back of cosm etic bottles w hether liquid contains a
reducing agent or not.
