Negative ions are particles that com bine negatively charged
oxygen and moisture in the air. Negative ions are invisible to the
naked eye because their diam eter is just 1/1000th that of a particle
o f steam. They are generated via a high-voltage discharge method
known as a corona discharge.

In general, hair is easily positively charged. By exposing hair to
negative ions, moisture penetrates each and every strand of hair.
These negative ions also coat the hair and help it m aintain its
m oisture content. Negative ions also neutralize static electricity
and thus enhance the hair's balance.
• The effects o f ions might not be felt by these group of people.
Those w ho have crim py hair, strong curly hair, very sm ooth hair,
straightened hair in a couple of month, and short hair.
