    1600KL QUICK START INSTRUCTIONS Pre-weighing a Wheelchair (Setting Wheelchair Tare) There are two ways to pre-weigh a wheelchair using the TARE function. One is automatic (PUSH BUTTON TARE) and the other is manual (KEYBOARD or KEYPAD TARE) tare. AUTOMATIC (PUSH BUTTON TARE) 1.

    Carefully inspect the carton for shipping damage before unpacking. If damage is found, contact your shipper or Health o meter® Professional representative immediately. Claims must be filed with the shipper as soon as possible after receipt of the package, if there are damages.
  • Page 6 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (CONTINUED) Assembling the 1600KLScale: Open the scale to operational position (see scale opening instructions on page 8). Rotate the display support so that it is perpendicular to the handrail. Position the display assembly close to the display support on the handrail (see Figure 1, above).
  • Page 7 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (CONTINUED) Ramp Instructions: Follow these instructions for moving the ramp to the opposite side of the scale or for adding a second ramp to the scale, to have ramps on both sides of the platform: Remove guardrail at the end of the platform by unscrewing 4 screws (see Figure 3, below). Fold the ramp on the platform surface.

    What does the Warranty Cover? Health o meter® ProPlus® scales are warranted from date of purchase against defects of materials or in workmanship for a period of three (3) years.
