5-3. Virtual Monitor Function
5-3-1. Overview
This function uses cross-point status obtained from the virtual matrix to perform remote signal monitor-
ing. It can be used on systems such as the HDS-X5800 or IXS-6000 series that do not have a signal
monitor circuit and cannot accept an input monitor.
Using the remote panel, set the following two parameters to use the virtual monitor function.
1. Set the display mode to signal monitor.
2. Select the output terminal to use as output for the signal monitor.
